I ordered mine within an hour of it going live (I think, I'd been tooling around online and checked my email again just before heading off to bed, and there it was). Ordered one for me and one for a friend, so we could split the shipping.
I thought it was limited to 3000 copies? Do I misremember, or was that initial figure upped after a surge of subscriptions to the mailing list?
A sole-source, mail-order only, experimental comic sells out (5K?) in 4 days. Even though it costs us in the US $32. Well done. I don't want to hear Ellis ever say again his name isn't a major draw.
Mine is here also. Just need to get rid of visiting parents and put children to bed (do you think they will notice it's midday?) so I can get a good look at it.
Obviously haven't gotten my copy yet. So I've been idly wondering what SVK stands for. Surveillance Via Kafka? Secret Viral Komik? I guess I'll find out when the package arrives.
No spoilers - but damn, that's a clever bit of work. Well done to all concerned.
One tiny comment: the UV ink bleeds through the pages a wee bit and occasionally got transferred across to the opposing page. This resulted in me spending a whole lot of time looking for hidden clues that weren't actually there. Or were they? But that's very minor. A fine experiment, and clearly (heh) a success.
G Foyle -- they'll send an e-mail saying it's been shipped. I ordered mine within a couple of hours of it being available and I just got the e-mail a few hours ago.
