    This just popped up on my radar. Thought it might interest others on the 'chapel as well.

    What is Womanthology & What makes it so special?

    Womanthology is a large scale anthology comic showcasing the works of women in comics. It is created entirely by over 140 women of all experience levels, including top industry professionals such as;

    Barbara Kesel (Writer/Editor Marvel, DC, Crossgen, Image, Dark Horse)
    Gail Simone ( DC writer, Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, Secret Six)
    Annie Nocenti ( Marvel writer, Dardevil, Editor for Uncanny X-Men, New Mutants)
    Ming Doyle ( Boom, Image, Marvel artist)
    Devin Grayson (DC writer; Batman, Nightwing, New Titans)
    Lauren Montgomery (Director & Storyboard Artist - Justice League, DC)
    Fiona Staples (DC, Wildstorm, IDW , Vertigo artist)
    June Brigman (Creator; Brenda Starr, Power Pack)

    I shoulda posted something! I'm involved in Womanthology. Inked the promo image and some other stuff. ono I can't believe I forgot to mention it (it's kinda why I dissapeared from WC for a little bit).

    As of 1pm CST the Kickstarter has raised almost 24,000$ ! The goal is 25,000 If it keeps going as it is, the goal will be met in under 24 hours. It's been CRAZY!

    The tentative release date is this winter if I recall.

    30 minutes later, there's less than 500$ to go!
    It's been amazing how generous people are and how excited everyone is about the anthology! :D

    Neila, You're awesome. :) the project is awesome. the speed with which the kickstarter got picked up is Beawesome :D

    I was enthused I thought I'd share. :)

    I left the computer for a late lunch and I come back and its almost to 30,000$ ! Definitely awesome!

    A heads up on the Womanthology Project: Only $3000 left till it reaches the $100.000,- and +Brian Denham (artist for ao X-files, Angel, starcraft) has pledged a great kickstarter reward, have a look and be 'whelmed. :D
