I've been on the e-cigs now for two years and haven't yet fallen off the wagon. My main reason was due to price - I was on 30 a day and it was hitting me in the pocket.
I really enjoyed smoking so e-cigs have worked out perfectly.
Does anyone else here use them or have you tried them or want to?
What are your favourite flavours? What type do you use?
For me, I use the Titan from Totally Wicked and my favourite flavours are Coffee and Apple!

    This sounds amazing...

I haven't--I mean hell, I'm probably already too addicted to caffeine, don't need another addictive--but I do think that's a really clever device. I mean, who's into smoking for all the tar and kitty flesh or whatever the fuck is in the traditional packaged cigarette?
  3.  (10024.4)
People don't understand how much I enjoyed smoking, so e-cigs are a good plan for me. You can get different levels of nicotine too!
  4.  (10024.5)
I have to admit to being one of the most anti-smoking people you're ever likely to meet, but I'm a major supporter of e-smoking. It lets smokers enjoy their nicotine personally, without inflicting the smoke on everyone else - which is the main reason I object to cigarettes to begin with.

Of course as soon as they came on the market the Australian government banned them, apparently on the basis that it's better to have a population that might, maybe one day quit smoking entirely than a population that do get their fix in a much safer and low impact way.

I've tried the Blu--a buddy of mine let me borrow a battery and a cartridge for a day--and I loved it. The only issue was not knowing when to stop--when you have a real cigarette, you stop when it burns down, but this thing, you just keep going and you feel woogy after a while.

That said, the disposable Blus are a complete waste. It was the exact opposite of the experience I had with the replaceable kit.

I find the non burning down thing a good thing - with a normal cigarette I sometimes only wanted a couple of puffs but felt compelled to finish it off so it wasn't a waste. Whereas with these I can have a couple of puffs and put it down.

I use the titan with the mega atomizer - i've also got a USB pass through so I don't have to waste batteries!

I just think that we had perfectly good analogue cigs for a good hundred and fifty years, I don't need an IFag. Ther also make me feel terrible the next day when combined with alchohol, something to do with not knowing how many you've smoked, or how long to smoke them for

Well, our health ministry in Canada released a big statement saying why e-cigs are bad, so it doesn't look like we'll be getting any good ones any time soon. I tried the Blu when I was in NYC and just loved that damn thing. I might order one to have it sent to a friend and pick it up when I visit again...

I know that Nicotine is a poison, the same way alcohol can be, they way I see it though is that I'm not harming anyone else, I'm not causing a danger to anyone else (like excessive drinking could) so what's the problem?
    Hopefully you can get some!

Well, the e-cigarettes themselves aren't illegal, but the nicotine cartridges are. Apparently after lots of testing they found that trace amounts of a carcinogenic by-product (also found in nicotine patches) were discovered in 1% of the nicotine cartridges tested, from a cheap brand.

Part of my love of cigarettes is the burn from a lit one. I think I'm just such a low impact smoker that just having the nicotine isn't enough. I want to love them, but it just doesn't cut it like the real thing for me. Alas!

I bought my girlfriend a BLU just before she had a long flight & longer layover (in Jersey) and she loved it for when she couldn't smoke a real cig. But she doesn't use it any time she can have a real smoke. Also, the problem of not knowing when to STOP it since it doesn't ever end.

As soon as they figure out how to tax the shit out of it we'll get them. I don't even smoke, but if e-cigarettes were legal I'd have one for the occasional hit - like when I want to stimulate my brain but I know caffeine would keep me awake for longer than I want.

Two of my roommates have been smoking them for years. As an nonsmoker (asthmatic).... I gotta say...they are truly a godsend. My roommates get to have them anywhere they desire them. I don't even mind getting a face-full of delicious smelling exhaled nicotine. :D

I've puffed multiple flavors a few times and it's quite smooth and delicious.

From my fellow nonsmokers and myself, I thank all of you e-cig smokers. :D

I have the Blu E-cigs. I used to smoke a ton of 'full flavors' and even rolled my own for a bunch of years. I was up to at least a pack a day since I started at 14. [I still laugh like Muttley from the hanna barbara cartoons.] I had a few health problems and started the E-cigs, puffed on those for about a year gradually lowering the nicotine level. I haven't charged them or even thought about them in a few months. I used them to ween myself off the cowboy killers I guess.

"...with a normal cigarette I sometimes only wanted a couple of puffs but felt compelled to finish it off so it wasn't a waste."

Yup, same here. A few puffs here a few puffs there. Reburns smell the worst. E-cigs smell like.. a battery.
Which we all know is robot candy. So that's all you need to worry about, robots with a sweet tooth.

The news ran stories about the 'diethylene glycol' antifreeze ingredient and warned people that "E-cigs are deadly serious!".. thanks fox news! So glad you are scientists and not just fear mongering sellout idiots, pffft.

I'm using the Joye Ego-T Type B, and smoking the cappuccino flavor. I've tried other flavors, but this is the one I've stuck with. For flavor it's great, but for a punch in the lungs I've liked the Marlboro flavor. It came preloaded in my vaporizer, but I haven't been able to find this juice after that. I would rather smoke the tobacco flavors, or at least something remotely close, but I'm not sure of any others besides the Marlboro. Got any suggestions or an idea of where I could get the Marlboro flavor?

Curious -- Does anybody know big tobacco's stance on e-cigs? Do they encourage them at present because it gets more people smoking, or are they deathly, terribly afraid of a tobacco-less cigarette?
