You all know, by now, that at some point in the not-too-distant future Avatar will be launching a new free weekly webcomic – same setup as FA – set in the “Crossed” universe. It’s written by me, it’ll launch later in the year, and you can read about its sticky horribleness here.

But I hereby declare, oh rancid lovelies, that you are the First To Know:

There is Another Skywalker.

A separate Avatar webcomic. Which, all being well, will hit your glowboxes even before Crossed.

It is huge. It is weird. And I can’t tell you a bloody thing about it.

Yeah, very understandable.

For what it's worth, Crossed: Wish You Were Here is going to be a lot less "how Nasty can we get?" (though fans of Nasty will not be disappointed) than other Crossed series, and a lot more about people attempting to build lives amidst horror. With some slightly experimental metafictional weirdness built-in too.

Still, I get that Apocalyptic Horror isn't everyone's mug of mank. Luckily, I tend to think this other series - unmentionable and indescribable though it currently remains - is less of a genre-jump from Freakangels than something like Crossed. It's still a very different beast to Warren's opus, but... overlapping in some ways.
