@yskasa…sweet posca love. I miss using them. I remember obsessively looking for them when I was backpacking in Europe. @chris…sweet looking wolves. @Paul…awesome as usual. @kyle…nice colours. @richard…creepy looking skull….The stuff I'm working on is for a local comic anthology...Ashcan Comics
Thanks man! I know how you feel - They're tough to work on, the substrate really sucks most of the time. I just try to keep it simple where I can, and use color very sparingly (or not at all). Most markers slide around on the surface like ice cream ;) But I find ink/wash really sticks well, and then provides a decent base for colors to cling too....(then I leave it in the sun for a few hours to dry).
@mojo - man, you work so fast I can't even keep up with looking at all your pieces. Nice layouts. @hey apathy - thanks! @kperkins - yeah, I used graphite powder and watercolours, both of which are new to me, and I never really got a handle on them for that piece.
@Kyle-Latino, that´s a great Corto! love it @Rooth, WOWOW!!! @mojokingbee, those sketches are amazing! love the energy & the comic page! @lomopop, awesome! : ) @ALE, love your designs! this last one reminds me a poster from a travel agency/airlines company with a retro vibe, & i would like to hang it at home : )
ok, this is an old one, at first i´ve made it as a zombie but then i realized it look a bit like RedSkull. He´s a fascist too but fighting for Franco (behind him the national fascist flag wich is the same Spain use now without the eagle)
thanks, man! I actually managed to do 2 pages today....ok, it's 2 in the morning Sunday but that's not the point...Brain hurts though or maybe that's my low tolerance to liquor...
