@nigredo Good call on Deaf Center. Liked Owl Splinters but still think Pale Ravine is close to perfect.

Highlights from the Butterz Summer zip. DL here. Consensus favours the Moony Tropical Remix of "Oo Aa Ee", but "Notice Now (Mattwizard Remix)" and the Royal-T instrumentals of "Spend Is Dough" and "Haters" also big.

Katy B's On A Mission is probably the best pop album of the year. Solid from start to finish.

Kingdom's "Take Me", Wiley's "It's Wiley", JoJo's cover of "Marvin's Room" by Drake.

Have gone from active dislike to ambivalence in relation to "Sicko Cell". A bit like James Blake's latest release, you can respect what they are doing, but it's difficult to love.

I sprung for the full CD, and am in dumb-founded love with Diablo Swing Orchestra's Sing Along Songs for The Damned and Delirious.

Operatic metal, neo-swing, infused with Gogol Bordello and Tom Waits. It shouldn't work at all, but usually succeeds brilliantly.

    Crazy Swedes.

Yeah! Good stuff. Have you listened to the Machinedrum mix for Mary Ann Hobbs? Listening now and it's pretty good.

Enjoying the title track from Dam Mantle's WE EP, but the rest is a bit ropey.

    Aand

Since in their wisdom the IT dept at my employers (where I am posting from) blocked youtube it's dificult for me to tell if this has been posted, but there is an excellent LP for free DL from Adult Swim, which contains a great track by El-P

    The artwork is bonkers:
