I'm going to be stinking-up Forbidden Planet tomorrow evening, stealing sharpies and trying to look busy. Officially it's a signathon to launch A Serpent Uncoiled, technically it's an excuse to spend an hour among comics'n'books and their associated devotees. With a high risk of booze afterwards.
Come and say hello, please. I may be persuaded to let slip some details regarding the new webcomics, and I promise to wear clothes.
EDIT BY WARREN: Si originally titled this post "Maybe It's Because You're A Lahndahnah (that you'll come and bloody say hello)." One hopes that, in the few days before I leave, he will learn to write thread titles that aren't quite so cryptofuckinggraphic.
Stupid job and large ocean. Wish I could join you, I guess I'll have to pay you to sign and send me a copy, within feel free to divulge any web comic information.
Let this not be a forum of no-show deadbeats. My room at The Dorchester has suddenly become available thanks to a crisis on the Nikkei, so I'll take this as a sign and travel down to show Mr Spurrier £12.99 of unconditional love at Forbidden Planet.
So I've been wondering if you'll give us a short bio on yourself before you officially take over this place. No offense meant, but I'm completely unschooled in any of your work.
Sadly, the job and ocean problem applies to me as well. Will your book be released in the US? Is there a particular drink I should hoist in spirit to toast your signing?
This. The new one and Contract both look awesome, but alls I see for Uncoiled in the US (at least on Amazon) is that the Kindle version is coming out tomorrow. What with not having an e-reader machine, and generally trying to avoid paying for shipping from Over There to Over Here if I can, are there options in the works for one such as me?
