Just wanted to say thanks for Whitechapel and FA and everything. It's helped a lot with various things, made life less craptastic and more amazing.
Hard to believe it's been that long. Was a good, fun story.

I remember starting out here. Reading Crooked Little Vein, and laughing out loud, getting strange looks. No, I didn't try explaining why 'saline' was so funny to my friends.
I remember the promo artwork, and waiting for FA to start. The same giddy feeling I'm getting with Disenchanted at the moment. I guess there's nothing like a good story to bring people together.

This project is massive and awesome. It's great to see it completed. I'm looking forward to the wordy-books and Seeeeeekrit Avengers with Jamie McKelvie.

Whitechapel has made me up my game and I am grateful for the opportunity to do so. Thank you for curating this place, sir.

You know I've been a fan of yours for years, following you over from your various LJ incarnations. You're a good guy, Warren, with a great talent. It with fondest hopes you come back occasionally, poke your head in, and shake your cane while cursing at us.

You're a good writer and I always enjoy reading your stuff. This site, however, is truly awesome and I thank you sincerely for it.

WC was a big deal for me in a period of life where things changed a lot for me, and the outcome was definitely for the better. honestly? places like this and the old STANDARD ATTRITION board in its prime were probably what kept me sane during some of the rougher times. times where, when they happened when i was 19 and a loner, i used to cut my knuckles open, paint with the blood and drink whiskey until i vomited off of balconies. so thank you all for helping me avoid re-living THAT nightmare.

i know its not going away, and warren isnt dying, but the board doesnt feel like a second home to me anymore, and hasnt for a bit. ive made some nice internet freindships that carry on in other spheres besides here and you all were pretty awesome yourselves in the past, what 3 years? damn. how about i promise to have a whiskey for you guys in about 8 hours? is that cool? it goddamn better be

Thanks for making this fine community possible.

I'm active on other venues where I regularly run into people who make me feel like dunking their heads in pig manure.

    Never here.

Come back and pitch your novels as they emerge.
