Apologies for being an egregious creating-an-account-just-to-say-thankyou style person, but thanks both to Warren And Paul for a wonderful ride and read.
I think the ending was beautiful and suitable, and I look forward to the entirely different experience of reading the series cover to cover in bound format.
It's all done, man. Good show and congratulations and thank you. It's really an incredible work. And I am just too messed up by the "THAT'S IT!" factor to write anything approaching the appreciation I want to convey. That'll come, later. Thanks.
Thank you Warren and Paul and Kate and Ariana and all other, that are behind the curtain. Thank you all. For this great piece and for creating this little den of awesomeness that is Whitechapel.
I hesitated before I clicked the link to read the last episode. I was almost hoping for one more skip week just so it wouldn't be over. Almost. It's been a great ride. Thank you Warren and Paul. Thank you Ariana and thank you Avatar. Can't wait to see what's next for Whitechapel.
It's a bit hard because you know you won't see some of the people that much any longer. Letting Freakangels go is like losing a bunch of friends. Anyway, we've enjoyed all that, even the skip weeks, all those years. YEARS! So, thank you Paul, thank you Whitechapel chums, thank you Warren (even if you still block me on Tweeter, I don't blame you why would one anyway) Thank you for what was not merely a brilliant story with awesome art, but that and much much more. Thank you all. And vive Avatar!
*smiles post-coitally and reaches for a cigarette*
Yeah, it was good for me too.
And if that was the story of what happened next, someone has to write the story of what happened, and the story of what happened before. Pretty please. I know we have the bones in this beautiful series, but I am ready for more.
I happened to visit based on a suggestion from some other Web-Comic many, many moons ago, and you have been my inspiration to getting my homework done. I've been doing my Master's degree online and Fridays have been my cut-off for getting things turned in. So I says to myself, "Can't read Freakangels until the homework is done." I'm done with the Master's as of this summer and you're done too.
I've enjoyed everything about this story - right down to the shading of the buildings. May all your ventures be successful, and may the world place you on the pantheon with the other Masters of "comic" artistry.
Thank you for making this accessible to everyone like you have and for giving so much of yourselves in the process. I will miss this.
