    @ Rooth - I use Photoshop. I fill in the outline with a flat base colour and then use an airbrush on a low opacity setting to add shadows and highlights.

    @ kxkrah, love the costume on this one- I'm a big fan of clothes that are clearly inspired by Egyptian paraphenalia but really do their own thing with it. I would gladly wear... All of that. :) The mirrored sun motif in the top and belt are especially nice.

    @Morag, awesome! This contest is just driving the point home that comics need way more badass black women.
