    This one is Brendan Gleeson, in In Bruges. Early on there is a nice little scene when he's trying to get into the clocktower. Counting out five euros in shrapnel for the jobsworth official behind the counter, he ends up being ten cents short.

    Ken: "Will you take 4.90?"

    "Entry is 5 euro."

    Ken: "Come on, man,
    it's only 10 cents."

    "Entry is 5 euro."

    [Ken produces a 50 euro note from his wallet and hands it over]
    Ken: "Happy in your work?"

    "Very happy."

    There are so many great bits of dialogue in this movie but Gleeson's delivery on his last line here is delicious. Lovely little throwaway.

    There's a few of these type references in "UP" but they made me laugh every time.

    At the end of the movie, the old man Carl, the kid Russel, and Doug the dog are spotting cars.

    Carl: Red one
    Russel: Blue one
    Doug: Grey one

    Made me laugh my ass off after I got the joke...

    I don't think "It is I, leClerc" counts as a throwaway line. It's more his catchphrase. A throwaway line is one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it lines that's not put forth as a major joke.

    Speaking of "Up", yeah, that movie rocks with those.
    "Now, we're gonna walk to the falls quickly and quietly with no rap music or flashdancing."

    The dogs especially.
    "I like you temporarily!"
    "I was hiding under your porch because I love you."
    "I am here with the bird, and then I will bring it back, and then you will like me. Oh, gotta go."

    Ooh, ooh, Zombieland. That one has one of my favorite lines ever.
    "You're like a giant... cock blocking robot, like developed in a secret fucking government lab."

    in mike leigh's film 'naked', which is pretty bleak (shock), david thewlis asks a security guard 'what' s it like being you? a bit hectic?'.

    Lightens the mood a little.
