    Black Rhino horn stolen from Zoo, purportedly for sale on the black market.

    The robbery is the latest in a chain of similar attacks on collections and museums throughout Europe, with the demand for rhino horn on the black market high.

    I knew there was a market for this kind of thing, but breaking into museums for it almost borders on cartoonish ...

    Although what is really cartoonish is the earlier robbery in Tring, where they made off with a fake horn because there has been such an outbreak of horn thefts (not penis thefts) they'd swapped the original for a copy. Of course, as there is no known effect from real rhino horn then I suppose the fake one will work just as well (there is a lesson there), although it would have been more elegant if they'd used a compound with tackle-shrinking effects (like the ground-up bones of Mary Whitehouse).
