I’m getting hitched on Saturday. Send money to the usual address.

On Monday I’m sublimating on a honeymoon to dark and mysterious places, where you and your infectious loveliness can’t reach me. I understand my wife-to-be has bought a special datablind sun-cream to prevent me wi-fi-ing in. She’s good.

I will be back in two weeks. Play nice.

A few logistical things:

1) Remake/Remodel. I’ll be setting up a special two-week challenge just before I leave. It’s a tough one, so don’t go shooting your loads early. Think it over.

2) I’ll also initiate our first ever ASK WHITECHAPEL monthly thread before going. I look forward to seeing what you've done with it when I get back.

3) I’ll miss out on two consecutive Fridays. If some enterprising person wants to set up new OPEN MIC threads on those days, go ahead. Venting is good.

4) I was due to kickstart a mod-sanctioned AROUND THE NET thread on the 29th… but the current nonsticky one is still thriving down below so I think we’re fine without. I’ll just slot a new one into the monthly-thread system in early September.

5) I’ll get the SPINNING YARNS monthly off the ground in early September too.

6) There is no 6.

Be good. Remember that auntie Ariana is always always watching, and the Urethral Attack Maggots are due to hatch sometime while I’m away. Just saying.
