Well, now begins the time of "new TV" or at least new network TV. I'm quite looking forward to new Fringe, Chuck and Castle, though I will miss various series like Burn Notice, Eureka and Warehouse 13.
Aint season 2 of The Walking Dead out soon? Being a twitcher meself I look forward to it. A couple of mates into zombies once again got all anal and sed "season 1,it's ok but.." They've not even read the first few trades so thats their beef (tossers). Me, i love all that shit..i dig anything where humanity and technolgy get fucked over and put in their place
@johnjones.I've only got the first two seasons of Eureka and am fond of it.Burn Notice is good for a laugh.I enjoyed bits of Warehouse 13 yet didn't really make a connect to it..
Speaking of connects a drunk pal of mine actually said they were going to make a new season of The Wire!? He must have had one can of vile strong cider too many..bless him!
@flecky: S2 of Walking Dead is going to be a split season - 7 eps in the autumn (debuts on Halloween), the remaining 6 starting 12 Feb 2012. And you know they fired Frank Darabont, yes?
@ fmiller. Yeah, i enjoy Sons of Anarchy. I've not seen all of season 3 yet.I was a bit of a prospect at the age of 12!! I used to love the meetings they had.I made tea for the mad angels and they used to "smuggle " me into the pub to drink Newcastle Brown Ale! I remember the barman being shit scared!! It was hilarious!
Just got up to date with Breaking Bad. I fucking love it man! Our Jesse has gone well darkside..Walt making stupid mistakes..the Secret Origin of evil psycho Gus..for me is one of the only things i watch on T.V now(via the net). I didn't catch the last two episodes of Game of Thrones so got that to watch later today/tomorrow..
If you want a preview of the upcoming new US pilots this season, AV Club will fulfil all your needs. part 1 part 2
Spoiler - most of them look like utter shit. For example - no less that 2 shows which simply steal the premise of the comic Fables, Sarah Michelle Geller playing identical twins from different sides of the tracks, 2 Mad Men ripoffs, sundry weak sitcom & procedural set-ups, what looks like an utter waste of LOST's best actor Michael Emerson and reboots of Charlie's Angels AND Beavis & Butthead.
But hey, at least over in Blighty we have the last ever season of Spooks and Misfits without Nathan to look forward to, eh? Eh?
Warehouse 13 is quite fun. I met the bloke in Toronto who rents them all his cool retro furniture and accessories, and the show is a blast even if you just watch it to see the fine stuff they use to outfit the sets. And if you're in Toronto, go check out Marty Millionaire's retro furniture place on Parliament and Queen.
So, did anyone see the new Sarah Michelle Gellar vehicle, Ringer? I missed it and was curious to learn if it was worth seeing. All I know is that Gellar plays twins and at least one of those twins has a stupidly pretentious name.
After being pulled two days before it was supposed to air back in May, the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode "Scorn of the Star Sapphire", is finally scheduled to air tonight - September 16th, 2011 at 6:00pm (ET) here in the U.S. on Cartoon Network. It has Hal Jordan in the episode:
and Wonder Woman in the teaser:
the final 4 episodes are supposed to air starting tonight in the U.S. (the U.K. has already finished airing the series).
and as always, my Brave & Bold background paint blog has been updated with it's weekly entry. Check it out here:

you know, if you're into that sort of thing that is...
Is it my imagination or is the plot of Breaking Bad getting a bit silly? Does anyone believe Gus would
a) employ such a stupid and risky plan to eliminate the cartel bosses, b) actually succeed without being shot down by dozens of henchmen, and c) trust Jesse Pinkman with his life after poisoning himself?
I don't know, Sarah Michelle Gellar isn't that bad of a name. At least it can be shorted to SMG, which is a little cool. Honestly I think she'd have gotten more respect as an actress for doing the voice of SARAH, the house in Eureka, than for this weird twin thing.
