Really nailed the colours on that Minotaur one Rooth. I also really liked the comic posted by Michael Shea a few pages back.

A little sketchbook drawing with pencil and watercolour with a waterbrush:

Every once in a while I need to go all editorial. Won't mean anything who missed this week's furor over Catwoman and Red Hood and the Outlaws.

Things I've been noodling around with. I'd like to improve my style, but I'm not really sure where to start.

So, including the previously posted Leprechaun gag, I made 4 fart joke comic strips because I was delirious or something.
    Here are the remaining 3:

    Olden Times
    fart shed
    house hunting
    The Payoff
    Who You Gonna Call?

    I swear I wrote this before I read @michael shea's comic.

-kind of envying your boldness of approach! My sketchbooks are much more pernickety and tame.

@ Mojokingbee - I love the sketchbook shots. Your Hellboy is great. He has a totally different look to him. Did you base the look on a certain person or did this just come out of your noggin and onto the page?

@photomagex...thanks..not based on anyone, was just trying to stay awake on an hour train commute last Sunday to pick up derby book. I try not to think too hard when drawing...

Okay, lately I've been kind-of in a slump where I try to draw something and end up going "SHIT. IT'S ALL SHIT." But, last night I did this figure drawing, trying to do more heavy shadow work like I did when I was in art class.

    This. This I like.
