    R.E.M. and Wilco is abt as country as my music library gets, but came across this today and am really liking it.



    The guardian podcast talks about Nashville songwriting being the R&B/hip-hop of the white American working class... intriguing.

    Sivert Høyem came out with a new album. I never liked his solo stuff as much as what Madrugada (the band he was the singer in) did, but this is a pretty strong start.

    Haha, found what I'm playing for the trick or treaters on halloween. Massive, sludgy bad vibes.



    Just discovered He Said! I like this way more than Wire tracks I've heard (except heartbeat).


    Feels strange to think that because of the internet there is more music available that was recorded before I was born than I could listen to in my entire life.

    Today I listened to the Whitechapel mix-swap mix CD Texture sent me, yeeeeeeeeeears ago. It was fun. I'm thinking I might try to do another mix swap soon (I'll start the thread next week, after I get back to the city). Just a heads-up, kids!
