Oh hey, good to see that movie franchises get to shill electronics in other countries than Norway, too.

@lampcommander - I don't know enough about French politics to know if the comparison is apt, but the resemblance is frightening.

@Wood, please don't tell the real location, otherwise Dextra and others will undoubtedly spend their savings on plane tickets and light bulbs.

    Star Trek is 45 today.

A bunch of classic bits, the dan-da-dan-dan-dannn fight music, lots of Sir Patrick Stewart being awesome, and even a scene from Voyager. Sadly no SPACE LINCOLN though.

@vornaskotti - I while watching that "How to dress punk - for girls" video, I looked down at my desk where one of my studded leather bracelets sits and felt self-conscious about wearing it for the first time in my life. Thanks.

    First, there was planking.

Then that was not deemed idioticflashy enough, so there came owling.

    Now? Now there's Batmanning.

The only way I support this is because it will eventually remove from the population the people who think doing this is a good idea.

No joke. This just lends more weight to my theory that there's a secret cabal of people out there who have taken the responsibility of thinning the herds of humanity a bit since technology has, by and large, defeated nature in that regard. They're the people behind Segways, minimotorcycles and county fair bungee jumping.
