    Audience at tea party debate cheers leaving uninsured to die

    I'm not sure if the crowd's reaction is full on cult behavior, mob mentality gone wild, or what. Though I'd put money on the very same people raising hell the second somebody told them an ill and uninsured loved one was being left to the elements Spartan style. I'd also put money that most of them would identify as Christians: love-thy-neighbor (except in case of...). Weren't these the very same people who were crying about death panels in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Well, I suppose it's ok if it's the hospitals and insurance companies letting people die in the name of saving money instead of the government.

    Really, as much as it disgusts me, I love seeing that stuff. The GOP candidates have started one-upping themselves to please the Sleep-of-Reason-Breeds-Monsters demographic. (Record number of executions? YAY! Attacking vaccinations? YAY! Leaving the uninsured to die? YAY!)

    If they keep going the way they're going they'll nominate someone so totally bugfuck that independents will stay away.

    The dish draining closet is a Finnish invention by Maiju Gebhard, intended to speed up the drying up of washed dishes, or even to make the entire drying phase unnecessary. It was developed in the Finnish Association for Work Efficiency from 1944 to 1945. The Finnish Invention Foundation has named it as one of the most important Finnish inventions of the millennium.
