The Guild debuted at What The Hell Con this weekend, a small convention in Greensboro, NC. These are our Mark-1 costumes. I hope we get together again, say, in San Diego but as yet there are no formal plans.
From left to right, our Steampunk Justice League is:
Supergirl, The Sandman (myself, aka The Oneironaut), Zatanna, The Flash (The Fastest Gun Alive), Superman, Power Girl, Nightwing, Green Arrow, and Batgirl. -
wait, is the flash wearing Vash's coat from Trigun? Fastest gun alive indeed..

Now that you mention it...there is a strong similarity between Steampunk GA and Our Internet Jesus. Either this is a deciple, or there's a distinct similarity between pasty white men in their 30s/40s with goatees.

Yeah, it might just be the whipper-snapper in me talking. Hopefully it isn't enough to make the Karma Fairy mess me up when I get older, like get me bald by the time I'm 32 or something. :)

I saw this on some rss thingy - it's absolutely awesome. Love the Flash and Batgirl outfits. And Power Girl, yeah!

DarkKnightJRK: You should totally make the pilgrimage. On the one hand, it's a small convention-- 500 attendees, tops. On the other, even nice hotels are cheap in Greensboro, and the intimacy of the event means the chances of meeting friends for life is unusually high. My first exposure to the other members of the Guild was 3 years ago at WTHCon, and now they're my hiking partners and go-to party people. -
I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.They look great but I don't really like the idea of a Power Girl before silicon.
