    The costume is a conceit. If you accept they can wear it invisibly under anything other than the Kentiest of business suits, their physics becomes unimportant. Dash into a closet, leap out in costume five seconds later? Conceit.
    
    That said, it's possible to dress your superheroines in something stylish and appropriate rather than fantasy-gear. And perusing this guy's tumblr, I have yet to disagree with anything in four articles. His JL redesign is beautiful.
