@iaviv, looks like you know what you're doing to me, very nice. I did an Alan for Alphabeasts, where you draw fantastical creatures for the each letter of the alphabet.
Alans like to collect menstrual blood or other reproductive waste and transform them into human children, whom they then raise as their own. Pretty cool eh?
@tnperkins…awesome sauce!! @paul…awesome R/R…man, gotta find the time to do mine..sigh. @pupato…love the Hound piece. @oddbill…can't go wrong with tentacles. @iaviv…lovely piece.
today's WIP random pages...cannibals on mar & trying to draw vehicles..ugh. upsize
Finally allowed to share these with you guys- some samples from the Rittenhouse Archives marvel Universe 2011 set of cards that will be released next week. I did over a 100 in the set, but here are some of my favorites.
And here are my 10 cards for Cryptozoic's CBLDF Liberty cards, released last month.
@Amalgamated Biscuit ... I'm strangely comfortable with this.
tnperkins: You are seriously the coolest dad ever.
@Richard Pace: I kinda want to roll that comic up and used it to whack the fans who seriously got their underwear in a twist over Miles' turn in the suit.
@mojo: love that motorcycle one. I've been watching a lot of sons of anarchy lately, and am planning to draw some motorcycle comics now, ha. @tnperkins: I hope your kids realize how lucky they are, haha @jp: love that. kinda terrifying
So I'm putting my industrial design degree to good use and building some 80's cyberpunkish costume pieces, beginning with a set of goggles. First step was concept sketching:
Most folk I showed these doodles to were big fans of the Spider Jerusalem inspired model on the upper left, and who am I to deny the will of the people? So I did a further sketch:
followed by a digital render.
Next step - adapting the design to actually suit the layout of a human face, followed by CAD mockups. After that, prototyping, sourcing the lenses, latex moulding and casting.
