    Comics I'm getting this week:
    Casanova: Avaritia #2 (of 4) -- Because Casanova is glorious.
    Mystic #3 (of 4) -- Written by G. Willow Wilson who is one of my favorite writers. Decent story so far, interesting art in it.
    Lady Death #10 -- Grown rather bored of this now, but a friend likes it so I pick it up for her.

    Comics I'll get in trade:
    Action Comics #2 -- Grant Morrison did great things with Batman. I'm hoping he does the same with Superman. (And no, I'm not expecting it to be All-Star Superman like some people seem to have thought it would be.)
    Fear Itself #6 (of 7) -- I've been hearing a lot of bad things about this... should I be worried and not interested in it?

    ANIMAL MAN-probably my favorite DC reboot. and no, i will never, ever, ever fucking say DCNu in a serious manner.
    INVINCIBLE-duh.
    OMAC-fun and ridiculous, enjoyed the first one enough to grab this. HOWEVER if it doesnt have a little more meat on its story bones, i may not last long.
    STRANGE TALENT OF LUTHER STRODE-double duh.
    STORMWATCH-the art was a little weak, but i liked the new characters and the overall tone. will stick for a bit.
    SWAMP THING-art is amazing, story was a nice beginning, but it still felt a little off. on for the first arc.
    SWEET TOOTH-favorite monthly comic, so yes. yes i will.

    @savant: FEAR ITSELF doesnt seem very exciting or really interesting in any way to me. i gave it a fair chance for three issues, and since then have been kind of reading in the shop just to see if it turns around and interests me. but alas, plot threads just stop and tell you to pick up other books if you want to finish, everything has a feeling that it is trying to do so much at once in order to add to the in-story confusion and urgency, yet it just makes it seem like a mess. other people may like it, but i for one would say its not worth the dollars.

    Iron Sky #1 - Bad Moon Rising - the prequel comic to our Nazis from the Dark Side of the Moon movie, written by Mikko Rautalahti of Alan Wake renown and illustrated by Gerry Kissell (Codeword: Geronimo, Children of the Grave, A-Team: War Stories).

    i really love INVINCIBLE, it is truly the one superhero book i cant see dropping. they do whatever the hell they want! but....losing the old colorist to DC is a pretty big deal. the new issue looks like someones first coloring job, and has gradients where FCO was previously mostly solids. damn.
