I was nostalgizing with Depeche Mode's Exciter (one of the few albums I bought before the age of 15), but now I'm just listening to everything in this thread.

    I love this thread.

Some noteworthy albums on the N8 playlist:

Acid Bath: When the Kite String Pops
Asian Dub Foundation: A History of Now
    Barnburner: Bangers II
    Cut Copy: Zonoscope
    Double Dragon: Devastator
    kamni: Kamni
    LCD Soundsystem: This is Happening
Mark Ronson: Here Comes the Fuzz
    The Strokes: Angles
    Batman Begins: Soundtrack

Oh and whoever mentioned Skrillex earlier- You remember the awesome and prophetic PC game Syndicate in the mid nineties?? Well they've remade it. And Skrillex has remixed the trailer soundtack. You go watch that NOW.

Final note: I have all the above albums plus about 8gbs of other great albums, mixes etc on the N8, but for the last 2 weeks I have mostly been listening to 1 band: Elder....Check out Dead Roots Stirring. If you also have impeccable taste in music you will appreciate. :)

A bit self-serving, but what the hell. Thomas Dolby's new album "A Map of the Floating City" is out October 24 in the UK, October 25 in the states. It's very good.
And I did all the graphics (not why it's good, just a side note, really.)

New Nils Frahm! new Date Palms! and new David Thomas Broughton, even though listening to him mostly just makes me laugh.

    "familiar"

    "honey devash"

    @ allana

New Sun Araw is wonderful, as is the latest by Date Palms. Thanks for that.

Just came back from seeing Circle and they were fucking unbelievable.
