Okay, so far I have Oldhat, Allana, Lucien, Hex, and Alan's driving up from Washington. Give me a shout-out in the next week or so if I've missed you, or if you haven't RSVP'd yet, as I need to pre-order some stuff.

Alan/everyone, do you have plans for the morning after? The guy I'll be staying with has suggested we go to Snakes and Lattes for board games, since he lives much closer to it than I do. If y'all wanna test out your post-party mental faculties (or just play the Battlestar Galactica board game instead), we should make it a group plan.
(Unless you [Alan] are taking off right away?)

ALSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Do we have a concrete location for Lucien's birthday on the 28th? C'est What?

If this meet is anything like the last one I believe the morning after I will be sleeping off the hangover.

The morning after will be my sleeping-off-hangover time

Well, "morning" is subjective. I was thinking maybe noon, 2pm, whenever I've gotten sufficient eggs and bacon into my system.

    2pm could be a go.

@Allana - It really depends on if I've gotten a job/what that job's schedule is like for that week, but if I can swing it, I think that's an absolutely wonderful idea. It takes a LOT to give me a hangover the next morning (no, Robin, that is NOT a challenge!) so I'll be no more mentally clumsy the morning after than I normally am.

Looks like I can't make Lucien's birthday drink-up. Family stuff rearing its ugly head.

as far as the birthday drinking, i'm down with heading to the c'est what around seven or so and then seeing how the night progresses...since grease won't be there it may be just me surrounded by the beautiful women of whitechapel...how terrible....

    Ha.

As a note, C'est What only takes cash or credit card and they have a nasty habit of making it one bill for the whole table. I might not be drinking much that night, but I will be there. Friday, right?

friday indeed...and i just do cash, even though i'll be short on it and probably drinking less than i should, which is why i think we may move to a place with cheaper beer after a bit....

Drinking with Whitechapel women. I can think of worse ways to spend my birthday.

And what time shall we meet at C'est What? (Which is Front St, right? Everytime I've ever been there, I've been absolutely bladdered. Which I am most of the time. Including now. Shh! Don't tell anybody.)

    8:00? Nine? Anyone?

Well, lucien said 7 or so!

As a note though, this IS a bar where they kind of know me and I go to regularly so...the events of last bars aren't an option.

@oldhat - Seven it is. I'll miss Coronation Street but it's for a good cause.

And we'll be on our best behaviour, Miss. Promise.
  6.  (10278.36)
Yo, Hex - check yer email once in a while!
  7.  (10278.37)
Been away for a bit (work has gotten retardedly busy/bad) but I am a definite go for the 12th.
Might even swing by for drinks on Friday if I can manage it.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
  8.  (10278.38)
Glad to see you'll be swinging by. Are you bringing your wife, or did we freak her out too much last time around?
  9.  (10278.39)
    I'm coming solo this time.
She liked the lot of you, but it wasn't the 7-8 people sitting around talking she had expected (My bad, I didn't realize how big a shin dig it was going to be)

Going to try to ease her into the world of Warren Ellis a little more gently from now on.

Heh. Well, this one's going to be almost as big. Haven't heard from Jimmy yet, but everyone else from last time has said they'll be there, and my brother in law will likely be making an appearance.
