    Um, I have a sort-of repeat post to make. I'm not particularly good at posting in the right ATN thread... so various things have ended up in last June, or somewhen. Must. Try. Harder.

    Anyway.

    This isn't new news. In fact it's billions of years old. All the same... this is Elliptical Galaxy Messier 87.



    That wobbly blue thing coming out the side is an enormous jet of relativistic matter (plasma?) traveling near light-speed shot at least 5,000 light-years out into space by the supermassive black hole at the centre of the galaxy.
    Knowing that we have pictures of this floored me.

    Is it bad of me that my first thought about that flow chart is that you don't need the last sentence if you add another arrow back to Start? (Also, the start box is redundant. Just start it at the second box).

    EDIT: Also, using the flowchart as it is written, if someone gets raped, and you do something about it, and then nobody is getting raped, there's no loop back to the beginning to get people to stay vigilant.

    Ok, I'll stop now. I think my neuroses are getting the better of me.
