    Folks - just want to draw your attention to what went down on pages 12 and 13 of this thread. I've deleted an image posted by @Greasemonkey because I felt it crossed a line. Several people have contacted me off-board to make the same complaint. Alas, lack of direct Internet access at the moment has delayed me receiving those messages, so - if you're one of the people who was offended - mea culpa.

    I'm aware the whole issue is muddied by the nature of Satire, and the "anything goes" flavour of this thread, so if it helps you to think of me as a hypocritical prudish tyrant by deleting this, go right ahead. I'd simply ask that you give a little bit of thought to the people who are visiting this thread for the first time, and not frightening them away with what - ostensibly - appears to be paedo-wretched nastiness. Even if you're flag-waving something horrific along those lines, I'd ask that you refrain from cross-posting actual eye-scarring visuals, and - if you're still inclined to post a link after all - definitely give as much context as you possibly can.

    Personally, I found the image pretty funny, but then, ya know, I have an odd sense of humour, as do many of us here. However, I can see the wisdom of not having the images directly on this site, especially given the hysteria surrounding the issue.

    Much respect to all involved for not letting the mole-hill become a particularly nasty mountain.
