@Richard Pace: Quite awesome! :D @mojokingbee: Love the Gordo(n)
Still stuck in analog world (and will be fore the next few months at least, unless I get lucky with a decent enough job that will let me buy a new tablet or at least a cheap used one) so no colors of any kind
First one's all pencils, second one is pencils + gelpen.
Hello! Here's my entry for this weeks R/R Here's a cover for a graphic novel that i'm working on(it will be published next year by Arcana comics) For the process click here! And here's a page for something else that i'm working on. Enjoy!
@mojo and sizer: sharp as ever. @evilgeorge: I am really digging your style, that's a book to look for in the new year. @richard pace: wha..holysh.. I'm with neil, brilliant.
Some stuff I've done recently. Sorry I haven't popped in more often, been a strange fall, not much time for anything, but I'm getting there. Lots of nice work this month. Loved Richard Pace's strip. :)
Big Fish (mixed Media collage--about 7x5 framed 10x8 inches)
space shark having a STRUT! bleh, i tried that hatch-y effect when PVC clothes are stretching, still need to practice that. Stuart Immonen, Jimmy Cheung and Olivier Coipel are masters of that fuckin trick.
Wow...amazing what kind of talent skulks the Internets these days. I'm hoping to get a piece up here before the month closes. Finally got a hang of inking in GIMP, but not certain if coloring is possible without it looking crappy. Most pieces I've seen on the web colored in GIMP look bad.
This is also done but I ran out of money for paper, it's a 24-pg story book. As soon as I get paid, I'm finishing it. I'm binding these hardcover and they should be on sale in Brooklyn as soon as I'm done with that.
