    Oh my gosh BABY!! YAy!!!

Good improv class for me - and I was worried it wouldn't work. Fun warming up for an audition that still hasn't happened. Nice quick little chat.

It's funny how nothing terrible happening when you were envisioning things blowing up, or at least soiling your pants, becomes a really sweet, good thing.

    Today was good.

So, last week I was feeling all slow and sluggish, I had only worked out once during the week, and wasn't eating as well as I could have been. My weight was up about 4 pounds to 172, and my waist had gone up a little, too, to about 32.5" D:

BUT, today, I'm back down to 168.5 lbs, and my waist is down to 31", and my hips down to 41"!! :D I guess I had just been retaining water or something from not having eaten as well as usual. It also occurred to me this morning that I was also on my menstrual week, so that might have had something to do with it. So, not only have I NOT gained back the weight I had worked so hard to lose, BUT, I'm also down an extra inch of my waist and hips, which means that I've now lost a total of 4" of my waist, and 3" of my hips from what I was in July 2010, at which I was at my biggest. Huzzah for good health!

At the end of the day, just my opinion, absolutely nothing matters just so long as you can take a second out and say "I'm alive!"

    I'm alive! It's freaking amazing!

@Rachæl That's an amazing picture. What building is that (assuming it has a name)? One of my continuing frustrations with Phoenix is that there are no cool old buildings like that (except for three. One of which is in fact abandoned, and another which appears to be).

    Rhubarb

Rhubarb and I went shopping. Didn't get much apart from a trolley load of vitamins, and I'm really not sure what I spent close on 40 quid on, but it was nice to get out and spend time with her for a change and she's great company. She's been a total daddy's girl all week, waiting for me to come home and then climbing all over me, which has been sweet, as she went through a phase of telling me to 'go away, you're stupid'. But I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm still very much in the cross-your-fingers, knock-on-wood stage, but I think I finally got myself a job that I can use to build up a foundation for a grown-up life! I've been very scared about being a bad case of failure-to-launch, but if this works out, I'll be able to... well, do a LOT that I haven't been able to even consider for years.

Robin is making me giggle every time I get something from her. I'm really starting to worry the housemates and the dog.

This was a good day. The boiling anger over the work crap seemed to snap me awake and want me to really do shit again. Today I decided I'll get back to exercising and had a really angry swim, followed by some water massage, which finally opened my neck and back muscles. I also did some ground work for some guerrilla gardening I'm going to do next summer, and finally... I cooked. I found this great looking dish from a tentacle photo gallery of a black metal vocalist I know (amongst Japanese octopus porn and cthulhu pics), and it looked so fun I had to do it. Of course, I went to the shop straight from the swim, so I was totally ravenous and went a bit overboard with the food. Awesomely, awesomely overboard.

    Blogged about it too.

FLY ME OVER AND COOK ME A MEAL THIS INSTANT.

    Wow, that looks delicious...

I can say with 100% conviction that if you haul your ass over here, taphead and I will cook you meals SO HARD.

I'm still in a Big Belly Buddha Nirvana. Now, if I just could drag my ass one block away to get some Franziskaner Hefe or light Leffe with my good book.

    Halp - wheelbarrow, anyone?

Finland has never seemed so inviting. And I keep hearing more and more rad things about it too. Someone told me if you earn a PHD there they give you a sword. And the Finns apparently scared the Nazis... Well then. }:>

Spending the day watching cartoons with me niece. I may not have my adult life in order but I win at kidding around. }:>

I just made a pretty awesome steak sandwich. Or at least is a pretty awesome sandwich up until it fell apart in my hands. But it was still tasty!

The Senator's office I'm interning at, just asked me to stay for another semester. Granted it's another three months of not being paid, but the people are tolerable and they seem to want to keep me.

I also had a pretty good birthday week last week. Didn't get a my ultimate birthday wish of a romantic night with Scarlett Johansen, but I got some nice things anyway.

I also discovered the horrors of Ikea today. And yet....I want to revisit it. What the fuck happened to me Whitechapel?
