    Y'know, I read these things and become slightly more nervous about the world in general, really, I do.

    working fora supermarket chain, I once had somebody write to me to say that we were going to be responsible for the world ending. The theory, which ran to several tightly scrawled pages of a4, was that we were solely responsible for sucking all the oil out of the centre of the world, leaving giant empty caverns, and all the lorries we have, and the weight of the products in them would cause the world to collapse in on itself and dissolve into space. There may have also been diagrams.

    I wish I'd kept it, I can't remember what I did with it and whether I wrote an answer or not.
