Yes, that is a duct-tape-and-foam tonfa. No, I do not have any shame.

@Andre: I swear, you are almost always very consistently good looking. It's almost not fair, except that I enjoy looking at good looking people, so I guess I don't mind so much. (Did that make sense anybody? I hope so.) Also: thank you for sparing us the pornstashe.

@oldhat & argos: I'm tempted to try that theme. I'll have to actually buy a pretty bra first though. But I'm tempted. Well, not the beard theme. My inner girlie girl just wouldn't.

@Mr. Walsh: FYI, you are fun to look at. As a result, I'm guessing you have a girlfriend and am behaving myself.

@mojokingbee: Not all the ladies of Whitechapel prefer hairy and lots of facial hair. Some of us prefer well groomed to clean shaven. I hope that is a comfort.

@comicbookbunny: You might not like that haircut, but I think it looks great. :) And like Argos said, you're very pretty.

PS: I swear, my comments aren't getting posted half the time. Am I mad or stupid or something?

I guess I need to re-learn to crochet.

    @Taphead: Thanks and likewise, mate.

@Trini_naenae: I am blushing so hard I think I burned off the pornstache. Thank you.

As always, you are all amazing (crochet beards!), and I would also like to point out that the beautiful ComicBookBunny has one of the best side stares I've ever seen.

Living all the pictures! Andre is a stud, as always, and Dextra ROCKS the red.

@Alan Tyson: no worries, I used to be in the SCA, and for the unarmored fighting style we had swords made out of bamboo slats, foam, and duct tape. No shame here, either. Huzzah foam and duct tape weapons!

I (literally) made a new friend:

@smileyfish I think you should join the "crushing on Argos" club. We have enough members to have a club now. Yeah.

That said, Argos, love your pictures! And Dextra, I love that red hair!

Dextra: You seriously are turning into Kate Kane, by the hour. AWESOME.

@Argos: See, but at least you were cool/dorky enough to actually be in the SCA. I just made those so I could feel like a badass when no one was watching. Oh, so this may seem an odd question, but what did you use for stuffing for you little buddy's head?

I might have to commission you, Argos. Knitting a Nietzsche moustache is not turning out particularly well, but I've never learned to crochet. What do you think?

omg....I can try. I'm sure I can get a 2D one with the general shape, but it'll take me a few tries to get a round puffy one like his.

@Alan - just some polyfiber stuffing. Same as what's used in most stuffed animals. I've also used, for other crocheted guys, poly-beads, which are those little beads used in hacky-sacks.

That's precisely why I was curious - the first thing I thought when I saw it was "that is the cutest hacky-sack I've ever seen, to the point where it would be completely unusable as a hacky-sack because who in their anywhere-near-right mind would ever kick that thing?" so I'd assumed poly-beads.
