    Wow, awesome stuff. Favorites from the last couple of pages:
    -gnilleps--combined skeleton is fantastic. I especially like the extra finger bones...your Fantoma knows how to jack some people up!
    -Sizer- I don't know what impresses me more, your creative ideas or your execution. Super cool!
    -Hey Apathy!--Always love your style--so much to look at and always bold!
    -Axel Medellin--Beautiful work--love the facial expression and the story the whole piece evokes. Seems like she might have a conflicted relationship with that skull...
    -mojokingbe--Playful and creepy all in one go--somehow reminds me of beetlejuice, even though it's totally unrelated...
    -dlauer--Cool illustration style--I like the color highlights. Also the devious tortures/execution methods.

    OK, I'm running out of superlatives, but evilgeorge, Neila, SimonFraser, KMcLeod and Tim Hamilton's pieces are also standouts for me. Everybody's work is great. I'm so outclassed in this forum it's ridiculous, but it's still fun to come out and play (even though this is the first one I've done in a while). Thanks to Si for keeping these going, and keeping them interesting!

    @oogliemooglie - hey, I was really impressed with your entry!
    Sometimes I feel outclassed too, but I try to remember that these guys would have more experience and training. I dream of the day my entry is selected for Bleedingcool, but right now I do it more for fun, exposure, practice and expanding my skills in art and Photoshop.

    Yeah, this is an art thread, but I personally love just seeing great ideas here, so screw the outclass and get great ideas down and submitted! It benefits everyone.

    @ Oogliemooglie and kmcleod: you're a lot better than you think (I probably am too). Don't put yourselves down by saying you're outclassed, can't draw for shit, or whatever. Just do it for fun, practice and experience, as I do!

    @ hot_righteous_death: if you can make it, do try to have a go before the challenge closes. Don't compare yourself to the others. Just do it for you!


    It's getting close to closing time for this challenge. I wonder what Daddy SI has in store for us next?

    @ harris-ejazz: The Fantomah challenge closes on 20 November. Daddy SI doesn't appear to have set the next challenge or selected Fantomah entries for Bleedingcool, so I guess you still have a little time.

    @ David Lee Ingersoll: I think this challenge has been so kick-ass because the African, jungle, witch-doctor, blood and primaeval elements really pushed our buttons. Plus, we had a "Queen of the Jungle" theme, which is always popular. And I reckon that skull-face power was the cherry on the top. It would have been different if we'd had to remake another spandex character.
