Mmm... I really like the muted colours. Feels a bit like water colour paintings. Palette of rust and steam, brick and ocean.... lovely grey London.
And I love scenes of urban ruin.
And that falling apart room with the scratched up boy and the small stockpile of cans in the corner.

Just looked at it again while sipping my coffee.
And noticed more of the lovely detail.
I like the dappled texture to everything. Which is made even more so by that grimy window in the boy's room and the way it affects the lighting in that space. Casting this grey mottled pattern that I first notice on KK's skin and then realise it is everywhere - some of it not just from the light. And then she's back into the growing daylight and things appear a little less grungey again. I love how you've made styles and colours so soft work so well for showing someplace so wrecked.
.... eek! Completely babbling. Sorry.

Goofy little observation, but I really like how the first and last page bookend the 4-panel pages (and reflect each other). Nice touch. -

The story really flows.
Love the subdued colors and 4-panel layout. Gives the story room to breathe.
