    nononono. it's not that he doesn't understand the difference between good and evil-- but that's all he understands. he's got no comprehension of nuanced situations or shades of gray. that means he's constantly assigning the "evil" label to people who really aren't, while at the same time ignoring questionable moves made by people who are supposedly on the side of "good."
