@mojokingbee Really digging that last image with the girl and rocks.

@HEY APATHY! Your show looks fantastic. Wish I could see it in person.

@Rooth Everything about that Wolverine is just the best.

@Richard Pace Your comics make me happier on Wednesdays then the ones that come in the stores.

As for me, I finished this yesterday, and scanned it in and stitched it together with Photoshop today.
It's a sintra cut (basically a linocut with different material, or a relief print). I used watercolor because of lack of time to print all my flats, but you get the idea anyway. It's my relationship with my ex, from beginning to end, set on the couch in the figure drawing studio at my old college.

ETA, I don't know why it's so very small. Trying to figure it out. I think I got it this time.

@Fishelle: Very nice! You put a lot of emotions there. I love it! I just don't get the meaning of the 7th picture. He doesn't look very happy there, but you were back together, right? Or you were friends?

Also here's a Human Torch i did last night and my influence map... sort of. I'm sure i forgot many other people that inspire my work.

    @evilgeorge
At that point, we had gotten back together, but it was still very confusing and neither of us knew if that was really the case. That particular moment is a very late night, when the annual student art show was being judged, and a couple of our teachers who had seen the backlash and drama of the break-up happened to walk into the studio and see the boy's hand up my dress. It was 3 am, they thought we were still sobbing over the loss of one another, and when they wandered in there to get some lights for the gallery, they found this a particularly amusing thing to find instead. My professors (one taught figure drawing, the other sculpture) couldn't stop laughing for the next 10 minutes.
It was also the night that I basically lost my virginity, but that didn't happen on that couch.

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

Some really beautiful work from everyone here!

@Mojokingbee, your work is a delight as always. Loved the final dredd.
@Fishelle, really enjoying your work. Very personal, rich in storytelling with a simple style. Really lovely.
@evilgeorge, loving all your work on here too, the x-men stuff and the human torch. Lovely. Nice influence map too.
@Hey Apathy! Love all the work. Brilliant cityscapes man.
@Rooth, sweet Mysterio buddy. Your poses always rock!
@no cuddle time, I will be purchasing your comic. It mightn't be until after christmas, but I'm dying to read it.

I've been away for a while. Took on more work than I could handle, but it's been worth it. I've a few projects finishing up soon and I'll keep you posted about them if you like. Today, I'm throwing up some prep for my Dredd R-R - which I just about got done.

    Dredd R-R planning

Also here's an image I did while working on the Irish Presidential election. I was involved in the campaign for a candidate who is deeply supportive of the arts, a strong advocate for Irish heritage and culture, a lover of animals and a genuinely good politician (believe it or not). He won the election and has signed a number of copies of this poster for me, which was really sweet, as well as requesting a copy for his personal (and considerable) art collection. The cool thing was seeing people adopt this image as their profile pic in social media as the election drew to a close.

I'll have a few more bits to share over the next week or so. I'm just so glad to have some time to come back here and see all the familiar faces again.
