Saw the preview for the documentary on Warren Captured ghosts- in Philly.

Has anyone else had the pleasure of seeing it, would like to know what you thought. Were they missing anything? Did you like it? ect.

Saw it as part of the Leeds Film Festival/Thoughtbubble Comic Con. Really enjoyed it. Especially as we watched the Grant Morrison doc before going out. The directors managed to capture the the different men's character (Whether projected or real) very well.

Oh aye.I saw it a few weeks back in London.I got to hassle Sir Ellis with a complimentary question too.It was a good wee film and nice to discover stuff about his life.Great to see shots from all the comics on a big screen thingy.I recall a nod to Freakangels on it.

A documentary about Warren Ellis and his work. What's not to like? It's not like i'm gonna say it was crap.On this site.To you lot.I do value my life a bit.

It also made me laugh out loud. And i like to laugh out loud.Very loud.

    HE HE!!

I hope my world class review has been most informative.I do try my best.Honestly.

The place i went to was a bar screening it- several people were just there for food and drinkies having no idea who Warren is. They were quite converted
by the end with much of the laughing at his humor :D

tho it was interesting to see/hear that a lot of the fans were ignorant of the arse eels...... clearly they do not read his blog or visit here.

I wish I lived in a place cool enough to get screenings of things like this.

Maybe I'll make the trek down to Seattle in January to see it.

@steve you can never un-see the arse eels!!! hehehe

Morac- they had some sort of special where you can get two people in to see the video, get both warren's vid and morrison's vid for 25 bucks :D

Morac -- If you have to go down to get to Seattle, do you live up near Vancouver?

@Warped Savant: I live in Victoria, which is unfortunately at least $100 each way to Seattle no matter which way you cut it (mostly due to my lack of a car). But then again, I haven't made that many out of town trips recently, so maybe I'll make a trip out of it.

@Comicbookbunny: Sounds like an excellent excuse to get girlfriend (hah, who am I kidding? I'll just kidnap someone like I usually do).

@Comicbookbunny: My brood of arse eels are thriving well as i tap this in.At first it was painful but now i've come to terms with them.I'm a horrible pervert and get off on that sort of thing.

Please don't tell me mother. She'd only get jealous.

@morac Duct tape is your friend and chloroform- she will thank you when you take her to see Warren's movie hehe

@Flecky i think they sneak out at night to find sustenance elsewhere- i've heard stories...
