I would like to meet there, at 10PM London Time (5PM in New York, 2PM in Los Angeles) on the second Saturday of each month starting in January of 2012.
This room will then become a Sound Salon. Bring your sounds. Not songs.
Make a sonic composition. Use words, use environmental audio, use music, but don't make it music, or at least, don't make it primarily music.
Let it be an original audio experiment. Something you made. Try not to rely too heavily on mixing other people's music in there, try to own your noises.
Give us spoken word pieces. Give us clatter. Give us sonorous tones.
Keep your piece under ten minutes, maximum. It can be as short as you like, but don't let it get longer, so there is enough room for the anthology.
Would you like to do this? Who is in for Saturday, January 14th, 10PM London, 5PM New York, 2PM Los Angeles, of the year two thousand and twelve?
I'm in! My work my be....not very creative at the beginning, since playing with recording sounds is entirely new to me, but I'm up for trying something new in the pursuit of DOING SOMETHING. I'll be a tad late to each session, as well, since I work saturday mornings and get back home at about 2pm.
I might sit in on the first session (now that turntable's expanded to include twitter log-ins I can actually use it), but probably won't bring any of my own compositions.
Yes! It is coming! Bring your sounds, and other people's sounds, and maybe music too in case ther are not enough sounds his first outing! But sounds first!

Yeah, I'd love to check everything out when you get a chance to post it up somewhere. I worked when this was going on, but as soon as I was off i hopped on here to see how things went.
