    Dredd's costume isn't only iconic, it's eerily prescient (take off the eagle and paint it black, he could be on the news)... looking forward to the imminent thread explosion.

    @Anchorbeard: I didn't know much about Judge Dredd either. But I am a researcher. So I've been doing some research on the Internet and bought an old special of Dredd classics from the book exchange. It's helped me to get the gist of the character and get to grips with his costume.

    @Everyone: I don't know about you, but I feel most honoured to be doing something by 'kind permission.'

    Thanks to Ted for inspiring me to go full eagle (not to be confused with spread eagle).

    Went for more executioner obviously and less cop...hope everyone enjoys the Dredd/Death mashup and my not-so-successful take on the Lawgiver.

    Heheheheheheh... first drawing I've done in oooh, about two years, and certainly my first attempt in Manga Studio, but I couldn't resist this...

    EDITED BY ARIANA: I've disabled this post because... well, because google is a little stupid, frankly. singularityjones.com has been marked as a malware threat (I'm guessing you've got something nasty on your site), which means any images you host there are going to throw a malware warning up for anyone that visits whitechapel. The quick fix is for you to find another image host in the short term, but you're gonna wanna find out what's corrupted your site.

    Ultimate fascist bully-boy Dredd almost feels a bit too predictable- but it's what I'm going with. I wish I had more time- I'd give him some kind of panzer-lawmaster.

    Judge Dredd remodel
    This is my first post, the opportunity to remodel Dredd was too good to pass up. A hard task as the original uniform is so iconic and visually arresting (pun was unintentional I assure you). I decided to make the uniform more practical giving Dredd back his peripheral vision and maneuverability with a bit more protection from rogue 'Futsies' with fully automatic firepower.

    Hullo! I went for a streamlined, more heavily 'futuristic' Dredd, and tried to carry the Eagle symbol across more predominately. I also wanted to maintain the sense of a 'Uniform' as opposed to a suit only Dredd would wear. A design detail I wish I could show in an image is his name tag and Police rank would scroll across like a digital banner and his red parts would light up in silhouette!
