As for the 23rd, as this will only be the second time in NYC I'll leave the venue to the natives (I kind of want to go to PDT, but that would require me running back to the hostel to change after drinks with other friend. Bar 82 (on second at St Marks) is a place that I walk past almost every single time I go there. It's generally pretty uninhabited, so I'm assuming it would be non-touristy. It is NOT to be confused with Bar 81, next to Blue & Gold. I know one of the bartenders, and the music played is usually pretty fab, but t's not really a cozy place, though. What about somewhere in Alphabet City? That's not really touristy yet, is it?
