All right, it's time for the Toronto chapter to once again show everyone else how it's done. The debauchery kicks off at 7pm as usual; bring booze and/or herbage as you like.

Menu this time around will be beef stew with dumplings and mashed spuds, with chocolate pudding to follow. (I can cater to most dietary requirements, given prior notice)

The last train goes at 1am if you're travelling by subway, there's a cheap parking station down the road if you're driving. Smoking is fine unless the fumes start getting too heavy (then it's out to the balcony with you), and those with allergies should be aware that I have two cats.

RSVP by 11th Feb so I've got time to do the shopping.

My email is p0lym0rph (at) mail.com if you need further details.

I'm gonna decline on the grounds that the allergy flare-ups at your place are getting pretty unpleasant.

Alternatively, I might be able to host at my new place: it's just spacious enough, and there's a front porch for smoking. I have to scope out my new landlord's coolness level, but he's a musician so we can probably win him over with drugs and Lucien's DJing.

I'm happy to relinquish hosting duties if it's easier on people's allergies. I can still cook if you like.

Hey Toronto people, I'm in a bind. Most truck rental places are closed on New Years Day (also a Sunday), which means I'm gonna have to shell out about three hundred bucks for a moving truck over two days.
Anybody have a lead on a pickup truck (or anything big enough to hold a double bed) that I can borrow for the day? Generous alcoholic compensation is assured.

@Allana: I don't have a truck, but I can help you lift and carry.

@Lucien: January sounds good. We just have to find a pub that's not on the ever-growing list of Places We Can Never Go Back To.

@allana - no truck here, sorry, can and will lift for beer though.

@grease - works for me...i didn't know we got kicked out of the c'est what though...i'd be down to drink on the 13th-15th weekend, perhaps at the cloak and dagger...it's central enough that if it gets to crowded we can hit another joint easy....

Cloak and dagger could be a go.

Thanks, guys. I have all the muscle I need, and I did settle on an exorbitant price for a set of wheels, but I guess it's worth it.

I'm also in for January drinking. As far as I know C'est What still likes us.

I might not be around if the booze-up is anywhere between the 6th-15th, but otherwise I should be able to make it.

There's C'est What...also the Granite brewpub which I hear is nice. Or Town Crier. Cloak & Dagger is good. Also one or two places on Bloor that might take us.

Man, the Canadian Whitechapel contingency seems to have their collective shit together about regular meetups. We gotta step it up NYC! I am planning a trip around that time but there is a slim chance that I can just megabus it up to Toronto. I have been wanting to go for sometime and the dead of winter might be an intriguing moment to pull it off in. Hmmmm, indeed...
