Just been at the flat in Munich for New Year and my birthday. While there I wanted to have a play taking some different photos. The first few are from the aftermath of New Year

I also wanted to practice taking photos of people on the street. Could really do with a better zoom lens, but this was my favourite

and this is a building near us in Munich

and finally some winter shots from last year

I am loath to single out any one picture here because they are all quite wonderful in their own various ways, but Mr Gilly, that is breathtaking!

Meanwhile, here's the skip i snapped for Mr Flecky. I confess to being somewhat disappointed with the performance of the new cleverphone's camera. Bah!

I spent the weekend hanging out with rope bondage aficionados. There will be a few shots of me, but mostly I hid behind the camera.

Not sure I want my photography to bend this way; I can handle a bunch of bloody/bruisy self-portraits, but I don't want to get into that naked-chick-objectification thing too heavily. Still, the rope textures are nice.

Every morning I go for a walk to get me out of the house before I start work. Sometimes I remember to take the camera with me

    Love those colors!

@vornaskotti. Thanks. Yesterday morning was better, the colours paler with the street lights still on. Sort of looked like chinese lanterns. Didn't have my camera with me unfortunately. The one feature I'm loving with the DSLR is playing with the ISO settings. Something, obviously, limited to a single film with a standard SLR, or carrying several cameras. These sunrise ones were ISO3200

Went up town yesterday for another trip to the vets. Took my camera with me so the day wasn't a total waste of time, provided you like skips.

Oi, what do you think you're doing with that camera?

    Looking a bit shocked
