    So that project me and my buddy have been working on and I've been yammering about for almost a year? It's almost ready for sale. @texture was kind enough to give us a foreword, and now that we have that, we're ready for formatting, then to our beta readers, and then it's up for sale at the Kindle store.

    Kind of freaking out here.

    Thanks for letting me scream into the abyss about this. It's important to me, and I'm very proud of what my friend and I have made. With Poppa Si's permission, I'll post a thread with the purchase link once it's uploaded.

    I'm taking a literal panic attack here. Dizzy, chest pounding, teeth grinding.

    I'm sending it to my buddy who's going to format it to .epub and .mobi for me, and it hit me like many thousands of bricks.

    I do not know what this is (I am kinda a newer lurker around these parts) but congrats and breathe.

    There is a great position where you sit upright with good posture and put one hand on your chest and the other on your diaphragm and breathe 5 deep slow breaths with a space of a second or two between the inhale and the exhale. Since I used to have panic attacks, I can guarantee this to be good white man medicine.

    I look forward to seeing your talents manifest!

    Okay--the book is sent to our beta readers. Once we have a consensus that it's good enough to go to market, we're uploading it to the Kindle servers and then begins the ADVERTISING BLITZ.

    I feel remarkably good about it. We're proud of the work, we're proud of the stories, and I only hope that people dig it and give us their $2.99.

    I also hope we make enough money on it to buy a gold airplane. I'm not good at scaling my expectations.

    Thankee, flecky! I just need a good hour--all in a row--to finish the friggin' edits, then make sure it's all set to be uploaded. I took Thursday and Friday off to make sure I could get that done*, so I should be in good stead by the weekend.






    *also to make sure i don't murder all co-worker
