    Regarding Dorkmuffin's above post, I saw the "OH CHEEKY CHEEKY" balloon and joy filled my heart.

    A traditional thing to do when ice diving is to get up to the ice cover, go as far as your safety rope allows (as in your have a rope attached to you and a partner above the ice holding the other end), turn upside down, put your fins against the ice and signal the buddy to pull you up as fast as he can. Whooo, surfing on the ice and popping up from the hole legs first :P

    This is me, the fiancé and a couple of pals under the ice.
