    I don't know if this is appropriate, but I had a weird idea for a Remake/Remodel of Superman. The character was first published in 1938 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. So, you have there a reinterpretation of Nietzsche's Ubermensche as portrayed by two American Jews watching Hitler and the Nazis growing ever more powerful.

    My concept is to update that to the current year. Take the idea of a Superman as put forth by someone today, preferably someone in a minority group. What kind of Superman might be produced by gays/lesbians, Hispanics or Muslims for example? Like that.

    Well after Judge Dredd, the obvious next one to do is Middenface McNulty! Considering his second name I can probably guess what half of the remakes will be already.
