    New found-footage show The River is daft fun. Aside from the contrivance (at one point a camera is put 20 feet up a tree, pretty much just so it can catch a creepy doll open it's eyes. In the middle of the Amazon.) it's entertaining & brings the mighty Bruce Greenwood back to TV.
