tl;dr: Amazingly ballsy Russian girl sneaks into working missile factory, takes pictures and posts to LiveJournal, gets warning letter from government, wins sport of urban exploration forever.

"While some of these rooms look decrepit and abandoned, the factory is active. In fact, the government is really pissed off. The authorities sent her letters saying that her situation will get "much worse" if she keeps posting photos from the factory.
"But Lana doesn't seem to give a damn about it [read: honey badger don't give a shit], which makes me want to go to Russia, become her friend and party hard for a whole week. This girl is cooler and more badass than I will ever be. That or she's crazy.

This is the reason I'm so pissed off that I don't speak Russian... I'm living literally next to the biggest UE park in the world, ie. the former Soviet Union, but going to these places really requires that you are quite fluent in Russian :/

So, I was talking to my boyfriend about this and he says that the exact same thing happened (also in Russia) a while back, only it was a photo shoot with some model and so it wasn't a real sneak in to begin with (but they initially posted the story as if it had been). Said he did some research when he read this current story and it doesn't seem to be linked to the same group who did the other faux break-in, but thought I'd throw that out there (though this one seems legit).
