No, I don't work for the company nor own shares in them. Don't know how long this has been public knowledge and whether or not I'm the last one to find out, just for a change. Not even 100% sure something this commercially-oriented is the done thing here on WC but I can delete it if our Eel Overlords object. Anyroadup, a friend just pointed this out to me and thought it might, somehow, be of interest to somebody: Daz Studio Pro 4, Bryce Pro 7 and Hexagon 2.5 are all legitimately available to download for free here. I can barely find my way around Photoshop but I've grabbed these just in case the 3D muse takes me some day. So far there've been no catches, such as a 30-day trial period before they hit you up for the usual $429.95, or any other kind of drawback besides the sudden, vertigo-inducingly steep learning curve I now have ahead of me.
Here's an image from my picture book CALL OF THE SCREAMING WICKED. It features the last living mugger to live in a Utopian society. I'm hoping this is the right place to post such things, it is technically on the net.
