I might show up there, but since my bank account took a swan dive I'll be drinking mainly water.

28th at Cloak & Dagger at around 7ish, right?

I'm broke too, but still in for a pint or 2 this weekend.
    See you there

We're ALLLLLLLL broke. Let's go somewhere cheap. Is the Cloak & Dagger cheap? Or should we do pitchers at Dee's instead?

You guys should just find a bridge to hang out under and bum some hooch off of some hobos.

well, i gots no moneys either, and cloak and dagger isn't any cheaper than most places...dee's sounds like a bad idea on saturday, but then so do most places...i thought consensus last time was to go for the couches at c'est what, but what do i know...? shall we call it 'til later...? do we want to buy beer and meet by the railroad tracks...? inquiring minds want to know....

You know...buying some booze and hanging out under a bridge DOES have some appeal...Start a nice garbage can fire...

been there, done that, had a good time...only not in toronto, of course...and they've got that icelandic lava beer at the liquor store again...we could try rhino at queen and dufferin, they've got cheap pitchers and there's a liquor store, beer store, and bridge nearby....

I'd prefer somewhere close to the subway. It's a pain getting home on the streetcar when I'm drunk.

and it's close to the dupont bridges if we want to drink under the stars...
  3.  (10466.14)
I don't think we're banned from there yet, either.
  4.  (10466.15)
I'm cool with the Green Room.
First meet up took place there, I believe.
Never been to C'est what or Cloak&Dagger so I can't really comment either way.

I was at The Dark Horse (right by Jane Subway Station) last saturday, and the place was pretty empty.
Booze was moderately priced ($5-6 a pint I think) and the place was completely lacking in personality (but I figure that we can supply that ourselves)
Not pushing for that in any way, just thought I should actually contribute a suggestion.

been to the dark horse...thought the booze was moderately overpriced and the atmosphere was about how you called it...green room works for me and sevenish is good too...we can barhop if necessary....
  5.  (10466.17)
Looks like it's the Green Room, then.

Indeed, the Dark Horse is utterly charmless. Not that cheap, either.

Here's hoping the Green Room hasn't been shut down for health-code violations again ...

See you pilgrims at seven. (Robin - I'm bringing more LW&C pour vous.)

@hex, oh don't worry about Lone Wolf! To be honest, I haven't finished the books you gave me last month yet (I'm a busy woman with an on-the-go lifestyle, damn it!).

For the Green Room I suggest running upstairs and taking the back table near the fire escape (if it's still there). That will give us some space away from the young hipsters who want to infect us with their filth (plus we can use the fire escape if they start to overtake us).

The fire escape will be a handy place to dump hipster bodies.
