Never been to C'est what or Cloak&Dagger so I can't really comment either way.

I was at The Dark Horse (right by Jane Subway Station) last saturday, and the place was pretty empty.
Booze was moderately priced ($5-6 a pint I think) and the place was completely lacking in personality (but I figure that we can supply that ourselves)

As oldhat commented above, a pleasant night with lovely people. And hey, I was there, too. For once, I didn't make a jackass out of myself. (The Jackass Assembly is dead-simple, on most occasions, as anyone who's ever met me can well attest.)

There were at least ten pitchers. Probably more like fifteen. I was almost worried we didn't tip enough and then I realized "It was the Green Room. They're lucky if the rats don't steal the money off the table." They're lucky we graced their filthy establishment.

Hex, they have King Pilsner on tap, which I recall you liking. Their tap selection is small but nice, but their bottles, which get pretty damn pricey, are amazing.
