    Another big night out on the town. Finally met Hey Apathy and Iron Imp, ended up at The People's Eatery at 3am with Oldhat and Alan, dining on shredded pork and green tea.

    yeah that was fun, meeting new people new books, new art, new music and new ideas whitechapel is even better in real life, I drank too much though and don't know how I got home. also thanks Lucien I remembered the authors name as c.h. reiner and didn't have any luck finding it the book store HAH

    @lucien: Thanks for posting the author, I was buggered to remember the name. Good talking industrial music, authors and comics.

    It was great meeting you lot. Awesome people, all of you. Best night I've had in a long time. Sent Facebook adds to those I could find and followup emails, etc. Definitely down for more future meetups.

    @Hey Apathy: I sent along an email to facebook and what contact info I could find from your .com in regards to the videogame installation we spoke of. Very interested in contributing original foley / sound design or additional music - that sorta thing is right in my wheel house. Hope to speak with you about it further at your convenience.

    Hex's usually the one supplying the arena pheremones, for one. Fantastic to meet you, Imp, and you too Apathy! You're absolutely right, Whitechapel is best experienced up close, in person, and after a few good beers.

    Just got into Penn Station, wishing I hadn't had to bug out so early. Thanks again, Grease, for the bed for the evening. You and your missus are first class.

    Shurely you meant "Hex NOT shouting at you." And I don't shout. I YELL. I yell because I CARE.

    Did anyone ask these new fellows where they stand on Stan Lee? Because I know he's eighty-something but I still say his throat. Or perhaps his typing fingers. (I'm nothing if not flexible. ) Next time, next time ...

    I'm almost disappointed the whole thing didn't go down in flames because of my lack of show but I'm not surprised. If anything, it went smoother without me and for that, I feel strangely nothing.

    April and May are fast approaching and plans start here, I suppose. Alanna's was quite nice, quite nice indeed and Grease and his lovely lady wife are excellent hosts. Will the new-comers be admitted? Can such a rag-tag group of combat-happy joes find love in a world they never made? Stay tuned, Fearless Ones.

    Hey gang! So, as it stands I'll be hopping an overnight bus from NYC to Toronto this weekend, most probably arriving in your fair city on Saturday afternoon. After that I have no idea about anything... Cheap fave eateries are always a joy, as is beeeer.

    Also, are there any reasonable hostels (or possibly a couch/mattress/kinda clean spot on the floor) around?

    Go to Chinatown (Dundas & Spadina, running north up to Bloor) for totally decent cheap eats. King Noodles on the west side of Spadina, just up from Dundas, has ridiculously cheap (and very large) servings. Downtown on Yonge, Amato makes pretty good pizza and will deliver; don't go to Pizza PIzza because it is shite. A&W make good burgers - not as good as Hero Burgers but way cheaper.

    If you are partial to weed, it's easy to get and the authorities are tolerant of recreational use.

    I'm painting the spare bedroom this weekend unfortunately, so I won't have space for a house guest.
