Mr Taphead is coming over in a month. We'll need to plan accordingly.

Oooo! Everything's still up in the air, but I'll let you know as soon as things solidify, yes indeed.

so when's all this march madness happening...?
  2.  (10466.104)
Waiting to hear from a few people. Alan's possibly driving up late in the month, Taphead hasn't set a date, and I haven't heard back from Florence yet. At this stage I'd say late in the month, maybe the 24th.

We can always do a small meet before then if you're gagging for another pub night.

So it's "Yes On Prop 24".* Or Thereabouts. And Toronto is our oyster, as it were. So no worries there.

Like Lucien, I remain refreshed at all times. Sadly, money's tight but late March is time enough.

This shall be our first meeting of Spring. Is that a Solstice or an Equinox? Anyone?

Either way, we'll all be wearing robes.

Equinox - the northern and southern hemispheres are equally exposed to the sun.
  5.  (10466.111)
so long as those are the only things being exposed, I'm in.

So, would anyone be willing to offer a cot or a pile of dirty clothes to an invading American for a Sunday morning?

24th it is! Wherever you choose to gather, I'll join you lot for drinks and a geeky chin wag. :)

Is everyone fine with starting out at the Hot Box? It's at 204 Augusta Av, down in Kensington market.

Oh! As a note, I don't really suggest Thirsty & Miserable for the whole night as it's a bit pricey and may be packed. A couple of beers and then move on?

Anyone know a decent place to drink near Kensington/Chinatown? Decent as in not packed and not overpriced?

At the moment I'm thinking Hot Box 5pm, noodle restaurant 6pm (the max seating time allowed at Hot Box is 1 hour), pub 7pm.

ronnie's local in the market's alright, if smallish and filled with hipsters...some of the beer is cheapish...lots of random bars in the area....

@Alan, I might be able to swing a bed for you in our spare room.

@Hex, give me a call over the weekend? (I get up at 2 in the afternoon)
